Biography

Change Tan received a M.S. in organic chemistry at Nan Kai University in China, a Ph.D. in biochemistry at University of Pennsylvania and a postdoc training in genetics at Harvard Medical School in United States. She joined University of Missouri in 2005 and is currently an associate professor in the Division of Biological Sciences at University of Missouri. Her research interests include gametogenesis and the origin of life and the origin of biodiversity. She teaches molecular biology and signal transduction to graduate and undergraduate students.
